1. Services

Inverness Cleaners and Tailors provides professional cleaning, laundry, tailoring, and garment care services, including pick-up and delivery, wash and fold laundry, dry cleaning, household item cleaning, formal wear cleaning, leather and specialty item cleaning, and tailoring and alterations.

All services are provided based on the specific instructions and information provided by the customer. We reserve the right to refuse service if a garment or item is deemed unsafe, unsuitable, or beyond our care capabilities.

2. Orders and Payment

All orders are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Inverness Cleaners and Tailors. Prices for services are provided at the time of booking or in-store. Payment is required upon collection, delivery, or completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.

We accept payments via cash, card, or online methods where available. Late or unpaid orders may be withheld until payment is received.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding garments, fabrics, stains, sizes, and any special care requirements. All items must be free from valuables, personal items, or fragile attachments unless specifically disclosed.

Please notify our team of any delicate embellishments, sentimental value, or unusual materials. While we handle all items with care, we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to items not disclosed.

4. Liability

Inverness Cleaners and Tailors will take all reasonable care when handling garments and items; however, we are not liable for damage resulting from:

  • Pre-existing conditions (wear and tear, weak seams, fabric deterioration)

  • Undisclosed embellishments, contents, or valuables

  • Customer-provided instructions that result in damage

Our liability for any damaged item is limited to the value of the item at the time it was received for service, not exceeding the amount paid for cleaning or alterations.
